- We are excited to share with you that you are now eligible to receive free financial counseling from a CommonBond partner organization. Through this program, called Renter Advantage*, CommonBond residents can receive one on one support from certified financial counselors at Lutheran Social Service (LSS) in areas such as: Student loan repayment assistance Budgeting assistance Building or rebuilding credit Managing debt Paying credit cards or miscellaneous bills Avoiding eviction Getting mortgage ready and buying a home Interpretation services are available. Any resident who completes a minimum of one coaching session will be entered to win a $50 gift card. Two gift cards will be awarded each month. You can enroll in the program in two ways: Call a dedicated CommonBond phone number at LSS, 1-833-227-1667 to set up an appointment Apply on-line: https://renter.nfcc.org/commonbond *LSS has partnered with CommonBond, with support from National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) and Housing Partnership Network (HPN) and funding from Wells Fargo, to provide Renter Advantage.
